WEIGHT LOSS BREAKFAST

Are you trying to lose weight? This post is for you. On a weight loss journey, eating right is the best thing to do, not starving.

Oat is a great breakfast idea on a weight loss journey. it has so many advantages over cornflakes and many other cereals.

Ditch those sugar filled cereals which which leave you hungry minutes after eating them and replace them with oats.

Below are some benefits of oats

Oats are loaded with important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Oats contain a soluble fiber called beta glucan which helps lower blood cholesterol level, controls blood sugar level, promotes healthy gut bacteria and keeps you full for a long time.

Oat is rich in fiber so promotes bowel movement and prevents constipation

Oat helps you achieve that glowing skin.

You can incorporate oats into your diet in different ways, by making granola with it, putting it into your smoothies or  cooking it and topping it with fruits, the possibilities are endless.

In my plate I have baked oats mixed with nuts(almonds, peanuts) and dried fruits, apple and soy milk.

  1. I sometimes make mine into smoothie. I add banana or avocado to the oats depending on which is available, and use coconut milk if available or I leave out the use of milk entirely.
